CPYU Seminar

Sex and God

Presented by Jason Soucinek

Evangelical teens are having sex sooner than those who don’t attend church. This is a reality. But should it be?

Honest conversations surrounding these two topics are rare but needed. Especially in light of the reality noted above. Teenagers and young adults are being countered by a barrage of attacks on God’s best for their sexuality. This presentation series walks the audience through the many deceptions of our media and points the hearer toward the truth and reality found in Scripture in a fun and practical way.

This four-session presentation is designed to move teenagers and young adults from their apathetic, “sex is not a big deal, why wait?” attitude to an understanding of their bodies, this gift, and why waiting is possible.

This multi-media presentation is engaging and interactive, providing opportunities for small group discussion and reflection.

Target Audience: Senior high youth and college students. Venues might include youth group meetings, retreats, campus fellowship groups, and chapels.

Learning option for Sex and God presentation: You can choose to be trained in the Sex and God presentation. Included in this day-long seminar is the Sex and God booklet. A variety of topics will be discussed including: current sexual trends and habits among youth in the church, the science of sex and sexual activity, the importance of language, and the impact the church can have if it addresses this issue with grace and truth.
