FORMAT/SCHEDULE

tough_stuff_title_blackThe preferred generic schedule for the day is as follows:
8:00 – 8:30 am- Registration
8:30 – noon – Seminars
Noon – 1:15 pm – Lunch
1:15 – 5:00 – seminars

HONORARIUM COSTS

The host church/group is responsible for providing:

$7,500 – this will cover the honorariums of the CPYU presenters plus also the cost of up to 500 copies of the Tackling the Tough Stuff booklets that will be distributed to all participants. (If numbers are above 500, please contact CPYU so we can provide you with what the cost would be.)

TRAVEL/SHIPPING COSTS

Additional costs would be travel costs for speakers (either airline or mileage reimbursement from Harrisburg, PA and British Columbia, Canada), lodging costs consisting of two non-smoking hotel rooms, plus costs of shipping materials needed for presentation to the host site.

We strongly suggest that a registration fee be charged to help the host site recover the costs of this event. In addition to charging a registration fee, we also suggest that you partner with other churches or organizations to cover the costs, as well as perhaps have corporate or other sponsors and also charge an exhibit fee to have exhibitors available to offer their services. Please contact CPYU for suggestions on amounts.

LUNCH

The host site can decide whether a lunch will be provided on site (cost included in registration) or whether participants will go off site for lunch (paid for on their own). The suggested break for lunch time is one hour and 15 minutes.

RESOURCE TABLE

CPYU will provide books and resources that will be available for purchase that day, which includes resources that are written by Walt Mueller and Marv Penner, and also resources relevant to the topics being discussed during the seminar. All sales from resources will go to CPYU. CPYU asks that at least 3 individuals be available to staff the resource table. CPYU will provide credit card machine and petty cash.

PROMOTION

CPYU will provide the host site with artwork that can be customizable for your event, as well as other promotional material.
