What is Sex-Positive?

Parents, there is a movement sweeping through today’s youth culture that’s promoting anything and everything opposed to God’s good order and design for sexuality and gender. It’s known as the sex-positive movement, and it endeavors to change cultural attitudes and norms about sexuality. As it promotes countless forms of sexual expression as natural and healthy to life as a human being, it is serving to convince kids that biblical sexuality is actually sex-negative. God’s design, it is believed, constricts healthy sexuality by putting borders and boundaries on matters of sexual and gender expression. The sex-positive movement is being trumpeted to our kids through media, music, and comprehensive sex education in our schools. Nothing is out of bounds as each individual is able to decide for themselves what to do and how they choose to do it. Parents, the culture is speaking a loud and clear message to our kids.
