Acclaimed by critics after premiering in January 2018 at the
Sundance Film Festival, this comedy/drama was written and
directed by 27-year-old comedian Bo Burnham. The film follows
the social struggles of 13 year-old Kayla Day (played by Golden
Globe nominated Elsie Fisher) during her last week of classes
before graduating to high school. Burnham wrote the film as a
reflection on his own difficulties with anxiety while growing up.
