Understanding and Addressing Our Student’s Focus on Themselves

Both research and observation tell us that self-centeredness, narcissism, and entitlement are on the rise in our culture. These realities are deeply rooted in the cultural narrative our kids swim in every day, pushing them away from the life-giving truths of God’s Word. To minister effectively to today’s teens, we must understand that human pride is the source of all sin, and that our responsibility is to guide them into living under the sovereignty of God rather than the sovereignty of self. In this seminar, Walt will guide you through how the cultural narrative fosters this focus on self, and then offer strategies for helping students recognize the lies while embracing a lifestyle of loving and serving God rather than self.

CPYU seminars are available in various lengths and formats. We will work with you to adapt our seminars to fit your needs.
