Nothing happens by coincidence. And as time has gone on, I continue to thank God for a “chance” meeting I had with someone that completely changed the trajectory and effectiveness of my youth ministry, ultimately resulting in the establishment of The Center for Parent/Youth Understanding. It was a youth ministry conversation about something I really wasn’t taking seriously at the time: partnering with and ministry to parents.
It’s my hope that a conversation I recently had with a group of sharp young youthworkers might change the trajectory and effectiveness of your youth ministry as you kick off the Fall and another year of ministry to students.
