For 30 years now I’ve been answering questions about the whats, whys, and hows of our work here at CPYU. Our passion is for equipping those who love and lead kids to see themselves as cross-cultural missionaries who need to know both Word and world. We want the church to become like the men of Issachar, who we are told “understood the times and knew what Israel should do” (I Chronicles 12:32).
Youth workers. . . I pray that you would have a passion for sharing with parents what you know about today’s youth culture and how the Gospel speaks to that culture. I believe you not only become a hero to parents for doing that, but you increase your effectiveness at the Christian nurture of the kids you know and love by challenging and equipping parents to function as cross-cultural missionaries to their kids.
Today, I want to give you a simple little “weapon” for your challenging and equipping arsenal. There’s so much that we do here at CPYU that you can pass on. . . at no cost to you other than a couple of minutes. . . to parents in your efforts to equip them for their task at parenting in today’s rapidly changing world.
And so today. . . a one-minute audio challenge from today’s episode of our daily 1-minute “Youth Culture Today” podcast (subscribe wherever you get your podcasts). . . Go ahead and pass it on! (Use the “share” button on the player embedded below to see your options.)
